Awesome Vinegar-Based Barbecue Sauce

I found this recipe on the internet and it looked decent, so I gave it a try. This stuff is the bomb! Easy to make too. Just toss the ingredients in a half gallon jug and shake it up, then let it sit in the fridge for about 6-8 hours. While it’s marinating, toss a Boston Butt in the kettle and boil it until the meat is falling apart. Then pick it apart with two forks and toss the meat in the crockpot and load it up with this sauce. Be generous! This sauce recipe makes a ton, but it keeps well in the fridge.

Anyway, here’s the recipe list for the sauce.

2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/2 (20 ounce) bottle ketchup (that’s 10 ounces, for clarity’s sake, but don’t try to measure it precisely)
2 tablespoons paprika
1/2 pound dark brown sugar (I used light brown sugar because it’s what I had, turned out great)
2 tablespoons salt
1-1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
